I'm Doogler and I'm the webmaster of this humble little site.
Currently 20 years old, and in college studying computer science!
I love programming, learning, and creating art.

I've been drawing my whole life, but I've only more recently started doing it as a hobby outside of mindlessly doodling when I was supposed to be paying attention in class.
I first got into programming around middle school, starting with Scratch, making my own little games for all my friends to play.

It's a personal belief of mine that everyone should have some way of putting their thoughts into some form of art, whether that be drawing, writing, making music or games, or whatever, really just having some sort of outlet for genuine personal expression.

I also think that making a website is cool and fun as hell and everybody should have one :D

My strawpage

This site was created by me using raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It serves as a way for me to learn more about web development and to have my own little space on the internet.
I first started this site in 2024, after being inspired to create it after seeing tofokyo.com and being introduced to the indie web.

Before, I had only really thought of personal websites as a sort of buisness thing. Where you would create a personal website to link to a portfolio or whatever. This was the first time I had seen a website being treated more like a personal space to express yourself.

I immidiately knew I wanted to have my own, especially coming from a prior intrest in programming. I started with making a strawpage, and I did like it, but it didnt give me the control I wanted. So, I set out to build a website from scratch. I thought it would be a fun challenge to learn something new.

Now this site mostly serves as a place to host all my art, but I really want to do more with it soon.
